INSULATION Crew Leader

Energia is looking for motivated and hard working Insulation Crew Leaders. This is a field position managing weatherization projects.  We are looking for a proven leader with excellent communication skills and a high attention to detail and who shares our values which are:

The job is fast-paced and physical. Supervisory experience and a construction background is preferred but we will train the right person. Building science, math, measuring skills and understanding geometry / shapes is important. Wage will depend on experience.

The Insulation Crew Leader will be responsible for:

    • Managing job sites and personnel assigned
    • Keeping the truck and all tools and equipment organized and maintained
    • Ability to problem solve and develop possible solutions
    • Understanding all aspects of the job scope and effectively communicating it to the weatherization crews
    • Managing all pertinent production and production related processes
    • Overseeing job sites to ensure consistency, safety, and quality of jobs
    • Must work at heights and off of ladders and scaffolds safely
    • Ensure a safe workplace for all employees by practicing safe techniques and demonstrating safety first mentality
    • Maintaining good communication with the customer to inform them how the job is going and any changes that need to be addressed
    • Good communication with company and program managers
    • Outstanding quality of work

    INSULATION INSTALLER

    • Air sealing
    • Installing ventilation baffles, ventilation hoses and roof venting
    • Loading the machine
    • Ensure a safe workplace for all employees by practicing safe techniques and demonstrating safety first mentality
    • Must work at heights and off of ladders and scaffolds safely
    • Clean up work areas daily
    • Lift and move materials
    • Maintaining a professional appearance

    Mechanical INSULATION INSTALLER

    Energia is looking for motivated and hard working Mechanical Insulation Installers. This is a field position working on HVAC and Plumbing projects. We are looking for a team player who shares our values which are:  Quality Work  Customer Service ● Integrity ● Innovation ● Education ● Justice and Equity ● Sustainability

    The job is fast-paced and physical. Experience/Construction background is preferred but we will train the right person. Math, measuring skills and understanding geometry / shapes is important.  Wage will depend on experience.

    The Mechanical Insulation Installer will be responsible for:

    • Applying insulation to pipe, ducts, walls, and equipment as required by project specifications
    • Layout and installation of insulation on pipe, vessels, ductwork, bag houses.
    • Identify and maintain a personal collection of all tools required for craft
    • Identify materials required to properly complete assigned tasks
    • Identify safety hazards and the precautions required to eliminate hazards on the job
    • Measure, mark, and cut required materials to required specifications
    • Fabricate, size, and shape insulating materials to fit uninsulated surfaces
    • Must work at heights and off of ladders and scaffolds safely
    • Clean up work areas daily
    • Lift and move materials
    • Ensure a safe workplace for all employees by practicing safe techniques and demonstrating safety first mentality
